The Past and Future of Talk

I continue to be amazed and delighted at some of the lively dialogue I read on Twitter, Facebook, etc. Meanwhile, talk radio continues to bore and disgust me (like those two talentless douchebags I heard tonight on a certain Detroit station) with the same old totally predictable Rush-clone shit. Radio has hit the iceberg and I fear it's already too late to turn it around.

Then again, as an old poly-sci professor of mine once said, "I base all of my hope for the future on the fact that I've always been lousy at predicting it..."
